Managing calories

 

My calorie intake allowance was 1200 a day but your amount may be different depending on how active you are (the more calories you burn the more calories your body needs). ย Noom Coach helped me figure out how many calories my body needed to stay healthy and lose weight. ย The “diet” or lower calories are temporary until you meet your goal then all you will need to do is maintain it so your calorie intake will rise ๐Ÿ˜‰

To calculate my meals, I simply took my daily amount of calories allowed (1200) and subtracted my snacks (3 snacks for 100 each which totaled to be 300) and that left me with 900 calories for meals. ย I then divided that amount (900) by three (the number of meals throughout a day-breakfast, lunch and dinner) and ended up with 300 calories per meal. ย I kept each meal under 300 calories. Keep in mind that when you exercise you burn more calories so you will have more calories allowed per meal depending on the amount of calories you burn during your exercise.

1200 calories (daily total) – 300 calories ( 3-100 cal. snacks) = 900 calories. ย 900 calories / 3 (meals) = 300 calories for each meal.
